Note: This stemmed from a cool and interesting convo on Facebook so I turned it into a post!
Last week’s episode of The Originals “Red Door” revealed that Esther was not the one who killed Tatia – it was Elijah! While some see it as a lazy ploy by the writers, I felt like this was a story worth telling.

It’s the end of the era and I’m not ready to accept it. The final chapter in Middle Earth comes to a close in December with “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” and the last trailer is heartbreaking.
How does one say goodbye to something so epic? As I grasp my replica of The One Ring, I really don’t have an answer to that. Where do we go from here?
This post was originally for Life&Style but since I’m not working this weekend, I decided to post it here.
In the immortal words of Britney Spears, “you better work b***h!” Missy Elliot, who has been flying under the radar since her last studio album in 2005, has stepped back into the spotlight – and she looks AMAZING!
After performing at Alexander Wang’s H&M Collection launch in New York City on Oct. 16, the rapper and producer shared this photo on Twitter:
Is butter a carb? While Missy works out, we’ll be over here with our Kalteen bars.
In 2011, Missy revealed to People that she was battling Graves’ disease, an autoimmune illness that affects the thyroid. “You live with it for the rest of your life.”
From the looks of it, she seems to be doing quite well!
I was scrolling through Instagram and saw these amazing videos. I haven’t seen any other outlets cover Ferguson the way that Ebony has. Seeing this makes me both inspired and angry.
I am inspired by the passionate display of people coming together for justice. I am angered because I have to go to the internet to find people who really care. Nobody IRL wants to talk about it because it makes them uncomfortable.
I need more black friends.

On this National Coming Out Day, what better way to celebrate than with this funny, sweet and satirical film?

It’s about an affluent black family navigating their way through suburban America. It cleverly (and hilariously) handles race in a way that is not alienating and allows for debate. While it does have its questionable moments, this show is still REALLY good. And funny!
Catch it Wednesday nights at 9:30 p.m. on ABC. http://www.abc.go.com/shows/blackish
